Our Surgery and Team
Welcome to the second edition of our newsletter!
Firstly, we say a sad goodbye this month to Sue Monk, who is retiring from her Receptionist role and thank her for all her input. Lois-Lily Geal joins us as our new Receptionist and we trust she will enjoy her time as part of our team.
We are wishing all our patients a joyful Christmas and a prosperous New Year!

World AIDS Day - Uniting Those In The Fight Against HIV
The 1st December celebrates an opportunity for people worldwide to unite in the fight against HIV, to show support for people living with HIV and to commemorate those who have died from an AIDS-related illness. In the UK, more than 105,000 people are living with HIV, yet it continues to be highly stigmatised and misunderstood.
The National AIDS Trust is the UK’s HIV rights charity, which aims to spread awareness and help those living with HIV. Support this month can be shown by wearing a red ribbon, the universal symbol of HIV awareness, and by supporting the UK government’s goal of ending HIV transmissions by 2030.

Patient Participation Group
The PPG Gardening Group and volunteers have had their last gardening session for 2023.
Their continued efforts across the year are evident from the tidy and safe appearance of the grounds.
Further planting of spring bulbs has taken place and should result in a colourful and cheerful display (not promised by building works!) for 2024.
The PPG wish all patients and their families a healthy and peaceful 2024.
If you are interested in joining our PPG, please sign up to the patient group
